Entrepreneurs start businesses for a lot of reasons, but one of those reasons is nearly always “my dreams are bigger than my current job.” In this session, we’ll talk about how to use your business as a tool to achieve those dreams, with a specific focus on pricing and budgeting. Participants will get the most out of this session if they have thought about how they want their business to serve the rest of their life, what their ideal income is, and have questions about how to better integrate their business with their life.

About Jessi
Jessi Burg, founder of Outgrow Your Garage, spent the first two decades of her career in seasonal industries before moving to the world of business development. From summer camps to outdoor education to landscaping, she brings a unique perspective to company organization. For most of her career, Jessi had always worked for other people until she decided to start her own landscaping business in 2017. It was during this time that she realized the lack of resources available for businesses with 10 or fewer employees. There seemed to be very little information on business operations and processes, and how to run a successful business.
Jessi started teaching other companies her strategies in 2019 after earning a reputation for meaningful staff engagement and values-driven culture. This passion for helping other businesses achieve their goals gave rise to Outgrow Your Garage, a business learning community focused on building actionable, applicable online courses. Through Outgrow Your Garage, she is able to provide courses directly to businesses who need them, ensuring they can grow and learn at their own pace. This year, she’s also launched an affiliate and subscription program for businesses who want to use Outgrow Your Garage courses as an add-on with their own clients.
